The gold standard. The cream of the crop. The highly desired but not often achieved Superhost status. When choosing an Airbnb property management company to list your home, make sure to ask for a link to their profile to ensure they've earned this important designation. Why does it matter, and how will it benefit you?
1. Up to Double the Bookings
Guests trust Superhosts. They've proven their solid communication and troubleshooting skills, they never cancel and their properties are always up to snuff. Guests know they're going to have a great experience and will sooner book a Superhost's property than someone else's. Often they won't even consider a non-Superhost's house.
2. You'll Earn More Money
Increasing your bookings obviously results in earning more money. However, listing your property with a Superhost also allows you to earn more per night, as guests are willing to fork out extra to be confident that their vacation will be everything they've dreamed. It's a double whammy.
3. It Means They Know What They're Doing
If the management company hasn't achieved Superhost, there are a few valid things you should be worrying about. Do they have poor communication? Do they not keep their properties clean enough, or perhaps they're unavailable for guest emergencies? Superhost status proves they don't just talk the talk, but can walk the walk. It's easy to say all sorts of things, but the proof is in the pudding. (That's, like, the third cliché we've managed to fit in this post so far.)
Read the reviews guests leave on their properties. Check their response rate. All these things are factors you need to take into consideration, as they will mean a difference of hundreds of dollars per month.
